The Valencia CF makes official the agreement with Pellegrino

CF Valencia president, Manuel Llorente, announced the agreement with Mauricio Pellegrino to become the coach for the next two seasons. The maximum president issued the notice in the event of renewal of contract with Jinko Solar, sponsor of the club. "This afternoon the Board of Directors has ratified the agreement last Friday with Mauricio Pellegrino to be the first team the next two seasons," said Llorente.

Pellegrino, who played as a player at Valencia for five seasons, will debut as the first coach in the Valencia team, having been the assistant coach Rafa Benitez at Liverpool and Inter Milan.

The Argentine coach will join Valencia on 1 July, at the conclusion of the contract Unai Emery, who led Valencia to set the last four seasons.

Llorente reported in a brief appearance that "we report that this afternoon the board of Valencia has ratified the hiring of Mauricio Pellegrino for the next two seasons."

Valencia President said reaching an agreement with Argentine coach last Friday and that when incorporated will be offered a press conference to explain the details of the contract.

He added that Pellegrino will reach Valencia in June, the conclusion of the current contractual relationship with Unai Emery, and simply noted that they have finally decided to hire Pellegrino "because it is the club has chosen."
