The VCF's worst league start since 1999

Valencia, who has scored two points in the first two games of the season, had always won at least one game at this stage of the competition since 1999.

The set Valencia on the opening day drew against Real Madrid away (1-1) and did so again (3-3) in Mestalla against Deportivo in the second date.

The last time that Valencia started the season with less than the current score in the first two days of competition was in the 1999-2000 season, with Hector Cuper on the bench. Then the Valencia lost at home against Racing (1-2) and then away against Espanyol (3-2).

Since then joined Valencia had their first win of the season long before the third day and on three occasions was full of victories, so today is the worst record of the first two league games of the XXI century.
